l took a solid 318 grandma’s Duster with a bench seat, automatic trans on the column from California, installed a 71 340 motor that’s bored .60 over, roller rockers and stroked to a 416 that’s fed by a 1350 CFM SIX PACK induction set up. converting to a 4speed and sending power back to a 8 3/4 Detroit locker Tru-trac sure grip rear end.
front suspension is an HDK tubular set up with viking adjustable coil overs. Rear suspension is a Control Freak 4 link set up with Viking adjustable coil overs.
Interior is full custom black leather stitched in orange.
Body is shaved, de-chromed blacked out and wet sanded laser straight for the igniter orange paint could be applied.
Why did you buy this car?
bought from a friend that had this rust free Duster in his garage. It reminded me of one of the first cars that i ever owned.
My wife also asked me why iI buy this car when I dragged it into the driveway.
My reply was I have the car already built in my head. I just got to get busy building it.
She actually thought I was crazy.
