Specifics on this automobile:
I own a 1981 Volvo 240, which is a two-door coupe, that was built in Sweden. Currently, it has 6.0 iron block LS out of a 2002 Silverado 2500HD, making north of 500HP. Backed by a 4L80E, with a shift kit and a 3800 Stall Converter. Along with a Ford 8.8 rear end, with limited slip gear set (3.73) with Volvo Hubs welded onto it, with factory Volvo disc brakes. Although the car is a 81, the front end is off a late 70s Volvo, with the ultra-rare flat hood. The taillights are from 86-93, the seats are out of a Subaru WRX, with a hellcat fuel pump, this car is my Frankenstein.

why did you buy this car?
Why? Well, why not? I have a sickness, and that sickness is being a gearhead. I bought this car because I have a soft spot for these old Volvos, I love them. They are simply utilitarian, overbuilt, and made to last. I bought this particular car, because it’s a rare 2 door coupe, which you never see, the main selling point, was that it already had a LS. How could I pass it up? My goal was to put a LS into my 240 Wagon. It was cheaper to buy a car with the swap and improve on it, rather than doing a swap myself.
