The Mt. Clemens Hill Climb event is a metro Detroit season opener hosted by the Suspects Motor Club. It is mostly about camaraderie and fun as the “hill climb” in Mt. Clemens is probably less than 50 feet in elevation change.
Clubs from the area gather to partake in the fun. Some of the clubs I saw at the show were the Hootlums, Hoodrats, Suspects, Twisted Axle, Roadents and DYS. All types of vehicles can be seen at this event.
From mild to wild and everything in between. I can definitely say that the Motorcity has a strong car culture with a large variety of styles and cars. And we are not afraid to drive!!!
