Specifics on this automobile:
1 of ~1255 Dart GT cars produced in 1971.  The A65, on the fender tag, denotes it as a Dart GT.

Factory 318, 2-bbl, console shifted A904, PS, A/C, 8 3/4″ rear-end with a 741 carrier with 3.23:1 gears.  Re-painted the original GY8 paint color.

I’ve added SSBC front disc brakes, MP Electronic Ignition & Viscous Fan, AutoMeter Z-Series gauges (oil pressure, voltage, water temperature & tachometer), Edelbrock LD4B intake manifold & 1406 600 cfm carburetor, Lokar throttle & “kickdown” cables, FlowMaster 40 mufflers (using factory exhaust manifolds with 2 1/4″ pipes), ’70 Rallye wheels (14″ X 5 1/2″ front & 15″ X 7″ (WheelVintiques) rear), ’70 style twin hood scoops and V21 hood, scoops & cowl paint treatment (using gloss black paint),

The original 120,000+ miles 318 was rebuilt over the 2021-2022 winter.  Smiles per gallon!

Why did you buy this car?
I’ve loved Mopars all my life.  I didn’t want to “spend the farm” on hobby car, so that limited my choices (making most B & E body cars out of my price range).  I stumbled across this car in 2002 at the Romeo Peach Festival.  I spoke with the owner (Jim Borg) and couldn’t strike a deal.  I saw the car again at the 2003 Woodward Dream Cruise and made a deal with Jim.  It had everything I was looking for.

2024 Will Be a GREAT Car Cruise Season! Come Hang With The Club!
