70th Detroit Autorama, Thursday, Move-in day: After we got the Twisted Axle Car Club display set up we were able to get some early footage of the cars in the show. The 2023 show was record breaking with over 800 cars and trucks. They couldn’t even accept all the applications for the show. The cars competing for the Ridler Award were off the hook and over the top. This year we also had George Barris show car, Ed Roth display, The silver Bullet was in the house, a low rider display and so much more. This show was definitely one of the best I ever attended. Twisted Axle car club had 8 cars in their display and another 3 in other parts of the show. We saw lots of friends from all over. If you have never been to the Detroit Autorama, you have to put it on your bucket list.
